Actually my Day 4 wasn’t in London mainly. I travelled to Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford through the local travel agency. Why? London no more places for me to visit? Maybe it is correct.
*You might know it at London 2008 Finale post later in this week.*
Early in the morning, took breakfast at LynnWei’s Aunty’s House and went straight to underground station to take the train to Victoria Station in Central of London. It took approximately 1 hour. So travelling within London itself, sometime it is time consuming too.
It took approximately 45 minutes to reach there. Victoria station wasn’t my last station to take the tour for those places. We had to go to the Victoria Couch Station, to take our bus to those places. According to our travel agency, she told us that it is very near to the Victoria station (underground), and her colleague printed the Google map for us to find the Victoria Couch Station. Actually it is not as near as we thought, it took 25 minutes to walk from the 1st station to other one.
Our tour bus departed at 9am sharp, total 50 tourists including us. The bus is new, clean, and air-conditioned.
Our tour guide, he is very talkative, friendly and kind. He talked from the beginning till we reached Windsor. He also explained to us the differences between castle and palace. Do you know the differences?
About 1 hour journey, we finally reached Windsor. 1st place to visit was of course Windsor Castle. We were told that Windsor castle is the combination of Castle and Palace. How can it be? The exterior design of this castle looks like a castle while the interior of the Windsor Castle looks like an interior of a grand Palace. It is the Castle of the all castle in European countries. Why? Basically it is the most handsome looking Castle. Anyway it was told by my tour guide, whether it is real or just for promotion, I not sure about it. I also went around the town; the town is small but beautiful.
Changing of Guard in Windsor
After this, we took our tour bus again and straight to Stonehenge. Regarding about the Stonehenge, I have nothing much to say. I can say, it is a place that you MUST visit if you happen to be in UK. I was questioned by my friends; go there to see the stones, what is the use? You can find any stones at any places or big rocks too. Maybe for those who don’t know the world heritages or don’t like the world culture much, might think that it is not necessary. Stonehenge is protected by English Heritage, and listed under UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. For more information, you can find it here.

The last station of this tour was to Oxford! We were told in bus that not to mention “Cambridge” while we are in Oxford City. Mainly because these 2 cities are fighting for their best of the world or UK, so indirectly the residents of these 2 cities hate each other. The journey from Stonehenge to Oxford took around 1 hour and 15 minutes. If from London to Oxford, it will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. There are routine buses from London to Oxford every 30 minutes.

Biggest or most complete Library in the entire UK, any books published in UK will have a copy in this library. Nobody can borrow any books from this library including the Queen/King of England!!
We backed to London at 5.50pm, and reached London around 7.20pm. We enjoyed very much from this tour. Went back straight to house and took a deep rest!
