Dragon Boat Festival

Just finish off my infectious disease final exam. The result will be only announce on Monday, don’t know what would I get, but I know I did try hard for this exam, and God lead me through all these.

Since just finish 1 exam, I decided to have a small break for myself. Was reading people blogs and found out most of them discussing about the Dragon Boat Festival “端午节” and also about the dumplings “粽子”. I really hope I’m in home right now to eat the yummy dumplings, but I can’t I have my studies going on. :P

During last winter, luckily I bought 1kg of glutinous rice from Moscow, and today I took out that 1 kg of rice and start making my very own style dumplings. We don’t have China Town here, because we are living is small little town. (Actually bigger than any city in Sarawak). We don’t have Pandan leaves here which is essential if want to make a dumpling, Adeline suggested that I go out and pluck any type of leaves to replace it, and add in Pandan essence. Haha, I didn’t follow it, instead I tried to change the cooking style from boiling to steaming. Yes! It works. We prepared the ingredients, pork, mushroom, peanuts and some other seasoning, and fry all of them and steam them too.

Here it is…

How it is. PASS?

Happy Dragon Boat Festival!~~
