Finally it is a Saturday for me though it is not the ‘real’ one. Why not the real one? Because I only back home at 4pm, it suppose to be before 12noon. Today we have a DM course from 9.30am till 4pm. I missed the most important parts, as we were doing morning rounds till 12noon… Anyway, my friend able to save the slides, and I can refer back later on.

Since it is a ‘holiday’ let me tell u a story..
IN MAIN OT..
Dr. : Good morning, Pt. How are you today?
Pt. : I’m pretty fine..
Dr. : Are you sure? You looks nervous!
Pt. : Of coz la.. I nvr undergo operation before. This is my 1st time.
Dr. : Oh.. It’s ok! It will be my 1st time operating on people as well..
Pt. : Oh.. It’s your 1st time? Operating on me?
Dr. : Yes. You’re the lucky one..
Pt. : . . . . . . (fainted..)

It’s so fast!! Chinese New Year ‘10 is over! Got to wait another 11 months + 4 days. This is my 1st Chinese New Year after 6 years celebrating at Russia. I’m very lucky tat i can get 5 days off for the 1st 5 days of Chinese New Year. But the rest 10 days, i was tagging at medical department, from 6.30am till 11pm, what a horrible days right?

Anyway, it’s over, is time for me to build up my medical knowledge, temporary put my scalpels in my dry cabinet..

Happy Chap Goh May again~ is not too late to wish u all Happy Chinese New Year again.

Is time for me to sleep now.. night~

Is second saturday of the year! And I’m just sitting in front this newly bought 23′ full HD LCD monitor.. wondering what to do for next few hours.. Can anyone tell me where can I go for shopping/lepak except tHe Spring?

Tomorrow is my last day in Tumor Team, and then I will back to my primary team!! I miss Tumor team!! Can I continue with it till end of my posting??

Today is 01/01/10. If I was still in Russia, I will have 8 days holidays~!! But now, totally different, it will be greatful if I can have 8 hours holiday/day.

Today also my 1st day in Orthopedics Tumor team, our superiors are 2 professors… quite stresssss… But they going to teach us lots, lots of HO who had been in Tumor team don’t want to back to primary team, I think it must be a secret behind why they don’t want to come back to primary team.

It is a beginning of the year, for this year resolutions will be..
1. Concentrate on my work.
2. Try to accumulate as much Vit M as possible.
3. Start my 1 L lens/year project.
4. Build up a better social network.
5. bla bla bla…

Road Safety!!

Currently I’m working at Orthopedics Department, and most of my patients are from RTA (Road Traffic Accident), our queue for Emergency OT is like never end.

Just this evening, a motorcyclist almost become my patient tomorrow. He was riding his motorcycle in dark without turning on his light, and I was making right turn. I couldn’t see him until he is about 5m from me. But he still looks like steady.. riding slowly…. Hey~!! If your motorcycle light malfunction, better don’t ride it, is danger for yourself and for others!

I had my 1st on call last Monday, it was a beautiful and wonderful experience, I hope all my coming on call will be like that! I’m paid for RM 100 for each oncall. One for my patients asked me to apply fund support from social worker as he couldn’t pay his bills for his stays in hospital, his monthly salary only RM 100. I should appreciate and enjoy and make full use of this RM 100 that I earned in 1 night…

Currently I have many plans for 1st pay (estimated end of the month), I’m thinking of getting a new lens for my camera which cost around RM 3900 for a better Image Quality and better performance for coming event, but I seldom touch my dSLR and my bro is using it more often (hmmm…. maybe ask him to pay half?); or a new Core i7 desktop which cost around RM 4300 for faster processing rather than a turtle speed notebook, for this I might use it at least 3 hours a day (not so bad though); or a PDA which cost around RM 2500 for better management of patients (hmmm.. life saving gadget?), or put all in the bank and freeze it..(can grow more RM…. hehehe..)

That’s all for this post, tomorrow is half day for me!! more plans to go..

We will start our tagging tomorrow. Our ‘office-hour’ is 6am till 10pm. We are not giving “overtime” allowance as we are doing our job “willingly”. . .

During tagging will be extremely busy, got to woke up extremely early like 5.30am, my last time woke up at 5.30am was 7 years ago? Anyway, it it the time for us to adapt with the ward environment and staffs.

I hope I can survive it ‘wonderfully’. . .

Today is my 3rd day in Induction. One of my most wanted to listen lecture is about Allowances thingy.. but too bad, the lecturer was busy and the lecture is cancelled..

Now I’m at Mayang Sari Resort, Port Dickson. We took 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach here by taxi. One the way, I saw lots of Sime Darby plantations!! ehehe..

Our registration will start at 6pm, (it was 3pm, but changed). Again.. I will update with you all about my latest status… I’m anxious/curious about it.

We will be provided 6 meals per day, and 18 hours of lectures per day…..

Now I’m at KLIA, waiting for my taxi to MayangSari resort, Port Dickson. It is will 6 days 5 nights course – INDUCTION! It is a course that helps you to know Malaysia better.

It is estimated to know where I will be in next 2 years latest by tonight or tomorrow morning. Where will it be?? I not sure, God know where should I be~!

Now I’m eating something at McDonald, in order to let me online at here “peacefully” The stuffs here are pretty expensive. . .
