Hiatus~~

Sorry, I can’t make my promise in last post, I will try to post up the sexual disorder and disorder of sleep 1 week later, because that will be my 2nd half of my Psychiatric rotation. Hope you all don’t mind.

Starting from yesterday, we have Traumatology rotation, this time, we will be studying the fractures of lower limbs and we have our own patient for case history! We have to describe our patient, precribe the drugs and treatments!

This week, all the 6th years students were interviewed by JPA and a team of Doctors. All types of questions were asked, not only Medical questions, but current issues in Malaysia too. For example what is our Rukun Negara, Who is the Minister of bla bla… And the most challenging thing is that they have to answer in our national language, it is MALAY. How to convert our medical terms to MALAY? Inflammation => Inflamasi? The questions were on spots! You have only few miliseconds to think. Challenging right?

I heard something about this interviews, those who passed, they will know where they will post after 3 weeks from now, and those who failed got to interview again back home. So how is pass and what is fail? Let’s say about fail 1st, If you didn’t go for interview => failed; If you close your mouth from the beginning till end => failed; If you don’t know and you pretend that you know everything => failed WHY? Because, if you don’t know, you should ask help from upper level, but not simply treat the patient, your patient might die. Pass = If you didn’t do the “fail” items. So just say “I don’t know” from the beginning till end, you might stand a chance to pass!

I got to prepare for this challenging interview now, only 1 more year left for me to prepare for this interview.
