Finally got my battery grip BP-450D from post office. Went there straight after class. I never been to that post office before, and I had completely no idea where it is. Luckily a russian lady willing to help me, she brought all the way down to the post office.
It took around 20 minutes to process the documents in order to get my parcel back.

Here it is. The stuff is put inside the soft envelop.

Let’s see how many stamps on it. Count the value. =P

Customs declaration! Opps.. my stuff only worth 10USD?
Okay… Let’s see the interior.

My stuff is wrapped with bubble plastic paper.

Here they are! My stuffs from eBay. Battery Grip BP-450D and 2 LP-E5 batteries.

The Battery Grip BP-450D is stored in plastic case. Just to let you know, it is not the Original Product from Canon, but from Phottix.

Back side. With several descriptions

The user manual for the BP-450D. I think this user manual is 100% reprinted from the original one. See carefully, you can see “Thank you for purchasing a Canon product”

The front and top part. At the top part, there are metal attachment screw that attach the battery grip to EOS 450D on tripod slot, metal electrical connectors for communication between camera and battery grip, and of course the battery connectors. At there, also present the slot for camera battery compartment cover, so that you won’t lose it. The front part, present hand grip for you to hold the camera in vertical position. The build material is same as EOS 450D.

This is the back part, where presents most of the buttons. The knot for the metal attachment screw. ON/OFF switch. It is used to activate the use of the buttons on battery grip.Buttons for AF selection, AE/FE lock, Aperture/Exposure compensation. There are build exactly same on the original Canon product. The touch is not bad, the button is easy to press and sensitive. All the buttons only effective if the switch is put to ON, or else it will be like paralysed. It is advised to switch it OFF, if vertical position is not needed to prevent accidental pressing on the buttons.

This is the left side of the battery grip. Shutter button and Main Dial are located here. The main dial is a bit smaller than tha main dial of camera. But using it for several hour, you will get used with it.

Right side of the battery grip. It is the compartment for batteries.

Bottom of the battery grip. Hand strap mount and tripod sockets are located here.

Battery slot for AA batteries. You need to put 6 AA batteries and can shoot approx. 500 photos without flash.

Battery slot for LP-E5 batteries. Either 1 battery or 2, will work

Battery slot with 2 LP-E5 attached on it. With this, it can shoot upto 1200 photo without flash, 50% flash upto 1000 photo.

This is the battery come with my battery grip. From Phottix too, capacity is same as the original Canon LP-E5. There are 2 of them. Canon do not recommand you to use non genuine Canon products, if you have extra bucks, get the original one. =P
Okay.. Now let’s attach it with the camera. For the attachment, 1st the camera battery compartment cover had to be removed 1st. It can be easily removed at the angle 45 degree, just gentle pull toward your direction, store the cover at the slot on the battery grip. Push in the battery grip and lock it by turning the knot on battery grip. REMEMBER to switch OFF your camera during any attempt of installing or removing battery grip to prevent short circuit.

Front part, it is nicely fit onto the camera.

View from the back. Securely fit too.

Left view.

I can hold it comfortably and easy operating.
With this battery grip installed on camera, it can double my camera power supply, and easier shooting on verticle position. For those who to get one, you can get it from eBay.com, if you’re from Malaysia, you can try lelong.com.my. Just type it Phottix Battery Grip 450D, and you can get the result. Good Luck!
