Red SMS/CALL is one of the hottest issues in my home country right now. What is this about? It is also called as Call/SMS of Death, SMS MAUT, 死亡短讯. It is said that whether you answer/read the red SMS/CALL ( telephone number/sms shown in red screen), you will be dead in next minute! So powerful right? You’re dead because you received large amount of infra-red radiation through this call/sms. Some said, it happens after 11pm (local time).
For those who are using black and white mobile phone, I don’t know you’re lucky or unlucky. Lucky because you might not receive anything in Red color, so you’re safe; unlucky because of you can’t differentiate whether it is Red SMS/CALL or not. So the best thing is don’t use any mobile phone?
The worst thing is, there are ‘reported’ death in Sibu and Miri caused by this Red SMS/CALL. In fact, none of the hospitals in my home country had this record. People are so creative and innovative!
To me, the parties that benefit most are our network providers. My family received total 5 sms about this issue, and some of us who are studying in far also received such sms. So you tell me, who benefit most?

Hey, my sisters were talking about this.. I find it weird.. I can’t find any news on The Star. Is it some kinda rumours like the one we had about pontianak wear purdah drive red kancil during our primary school days?
is it really true? it sounds so unbelievable cos everyone is using mobile phone.
